Thankfully Jared’s brother Conner’s ex-girlfriend and her brother step in and become the family Jared should have had all along. Of course, this is supposedly Jared’s own fault. When Jared is woken from a deep sleep after working all night, he says the wrong thing to the wrong person, and hell rains down on him in the form of his father’s fists and feet. Since Jared makes such a handy donkey on which to pin the tail of blame, they do so at every opportunity. I have never seen a collection of people so unwilling to accept responsibility for their own actions.
